Adejoke is a Licensed Social Worker, with over 20 years experience in the mental health field, working with individuals, families, children and helping people change behaviors that no longer serve them well in their day-to-day.

Adejoke’s approach is to provide comfortable, warm and open communication in order to help her patients achieve their set goals by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT), Choice Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques and Solution Focus Therapy.

She has used her experience and degrees in child welfare settings, hospitals, community mental settings, and adoption agencies. As well as being a licensed Social Worker,
Adejoke is also certified as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist, School Social Worker, and
Domestic Violence Specialist.

She understands that relationship issues, parenting, anxiety, depression, starting a new job, job change/loss, the birth of a child, adoption, quitting smoking or even having children going off to college can cause stress in our lives. These challenges cannot be minimized, as it can cause people to feel stuck or become reactive in ways that are maladaptive for them to perform their daily activities.

For these reasons and many others Adojoke’s work as a therapist makes her extremely happy. She loves when she see’s someone able to make a behavioral, physical or emotional change. This type of growth is essential and a great source of pride for many of her clients. Her favorite part of her job is to help her clients become the best possible version of themselves.
